Welcome to Emmy Bee Creative Studio
I’m so excited to welcome your child to Emmy Bee Creative Studio! These small-group creative workshops are designed for young makers ages 8–12 who love to create, explore, and get hands-on with art.
Each workshop introduces a new creative technique, allowing participants to make a beautiful project while learning new skills and expressing their own unique style. From mixed-media art and fabric mosaics to clay creations and friendship bracelets, every session is a fun, welcoming experience where creativity can shine.
Workshops are held in my home in Norwalk, Connecticut, with class sizes limited to just six participants. This small-group setting allows me to provide personalized instruction and ensure every child feels supported and inspired throughout the workshop.
All workshops are held from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM, are drop-off only, and include all materials, a snack, and a drink.

Summer Lantern Creations : July 7
Create a glowing work of art! Participants will decorate their own paper lantern using colorful tissue paper, napkins, paper, paint pens and modge podge. Each lantern is completely unique and ready to brighten a bedroom, reading nook, or favorite space at home.

Beaded Hoop Mobiles : July 14
Using metal hoops, colorful beads, ribbons, letter beads , and decorative accents, participants will create a beautiful hanging mobile perfect for a bedroom, creative space, or favorite cozy corner. Every mobile is uniquely designed by its creator.

Clay Creations Studio : July 21
Explore the creative possibilities of polymer clay while designing unique creations such as earrings, necklaces, keychains, charms, magnets, and more. Participants will learn basic clay techniques including shaping, texturing, and assembling while creating projects that reflect their own personal style.

Texture & Treasure Art : August 11
Turn everyday treasures into beautiful keepsake artwork! Participants will create a one-of-a-kind mixed-media design on a wooden plaque using puzzle pieces, beads, gems, buttons, shells, paint, and other decorative materials. Hot glue assistance will be provided when needed.

Fabric Mosaic Art : August 18
Learn a unique no-sew technique to create beautiful artwork using colorful fabric pieces and specialty foam boards. Also known as Kimekomi, a beautiful Japanese art. Participants will design a textured masterpiece featuring different fabric patterns.

Punch Needle Embroidery : August 25
Learn the basics of punch needle embroidery while creating a colorful textured design. Participants will explore a beginner-friendly fiber art technique while making a beautiful mini handmade piece to display at home.

SPECIAL * Tay Tay Bracelets & Treasure Boxes : August 24
Inspired by the friendship bracelet craze, participants will create colorful bracelets using letter beads, charms, and decorative accents. They’ll also decorate a sparkling faceted treasure box to store jewelry, keepsakes, and special treasures.
